So we stopped to check out some petrified trees at a small museum. Probably would skip this particular one in the future because they tried to shoe-horn in an awkward justification of a young Earth. (Which is weird because the natural fossilization process takes millions of years…)

For the record there are multiple lines of evidence that the Earth is around 4.6 billion years old. There are no convincing lines of evidence that the Earth is 6000 years old.

There are lots of places to go see petrified wood without paying money or hearing a YCE sales pitch so go bang on some trees and find some fossils!
