Lots of people know there is magma under Yellowstone, but did you know there are actually TWO magma pools?!? If my estimates are right there is more than 15,000 cubic miles of magma down there!

The last eruption was over 600,000 years ago and it is estimated it threw about 240 cubic miles of rock, ash and dust into the atmosphere.
