This is a neat, laid-back, quirky campus nestled into the hills of Flagstaff AZ. Best known for its work in discovering Pluto, the Lowell Observatory has a lot of astronomical accomplishments under its belt.

There is a lot to explore in the day and then most of the telescopes come out at night. My kids were most fascinated with the glow-in-the-dark sidewalks, but they also got some gorgeous views of the Moon and even Saturn.
