Isaac Newton once said, “If I have seen farther than others, it is because I’ve stood on the shoulders of giants.” Niels Bohr easily qualifies as both the observer and the giant. Not only did he build off of the work of Rutherford, Planck and Einstein, he would create the basis of all future modern atomic theory.
